About Us
A few years ago the team and I were delivering a live stream for a life sciences event. It was a big success, however during the debrief one of the Doctors made a comment that questioned the concept of a successful event, and sparked an idea –
“As well as a Q&A session, wouldn’t it be great if we could get realtime feedback from the audience throughout the event, and also let everyone else watching at home participate too?”.
Every day thousands of events take place, without real audience engagement and without capturing actionable insights. At that moment we realised this was complete madness, and a massive missed opportunity to not only enhance the event experience for participants, but more importantly collect critical data that could be used to progress science. Whats more, we saw that by implementing interactive digital technology, additional applications for training and education, community and ‘always on’ digital hubs could equally benefit science.
So we set about creating our first Audience Engagement Platform to transform a passive digital and event experience into an inclusive, collaborative one for all participants. At the same time, building a customisable reporting system capturing meaningful analytics and unique data insights from every session. To maximise the benefits the platform would need to be available before, during and after any event, enabling participants to engage live, but also long after the stage lights have dimmed, providing a secure community portal to access on demand content and resources, interactive polls and quizzes, gamification, and disease discussions all year round.
Because of implementing this new Procreation platform, the same event the following year, audience engagement tracked at over 90% across in person and virtual audiences. This was a huge transformation for the event, as it was previously challenging to keep audiences engaged, impossible to measure engagement, and lacked data capture other than a few questions addressed by the panel.
Furthermore, the data captured provided realtime feedback and actionable insights harnessing the ability to understand disease communities in more detail than previously possible.
Today this has evolved, and we now provide an array of engagement applications for events and digital experiences, from Investigator Meetings to training courses and disease community social platforms. This enables businesses and organisations to deliver engaging and educational experiences rather than passive ones, and gather meaningful data across multiple channels, driving strategy-impacting decisions.
The Procreation platform, and the unique data it provides, is vital to education and clinical trials, helps move projects forward faster, drives innovation and delivers powerful results for businesses – ultimately fuelling life-changing results for patients worldwide.
